HEY FRIENDS! I finally made it on here. ITs been awhile since I've had the chance with being sick and the enjoying the holiday festivities. Well not only did I catch a cold a few weekends ago but Christmas eve I had the flu. Thank you cousin Bailey ;) Yeah I was a sicky chicky. Mom was pretty worried about me but like Bailey's flu it only lasted 24 hours at the most. By Christmas eve evening I was ready to join in on the gifts (and wrapping paper!). I got like 30 million pairs of socks, tons of warm, comfy, cute clothes, some awesome toys and some stuff for eating. And like you all know...I LOVE TO EAT! Mom and Dad both ended up getting the flu too. Dad was puking all day the day after Christmas and mom had it on Monday. Good thing no one had it ON Christmas. OH GUESS WHAT! Mom stays home during the day now! We've been home together all week. She quit her job so she could take care of me and let me tell you, I sure am glad. More boobie and less bottle! Hurray! :D
New Years ever is tonight and I think we are all going to Noah's house! Noah is my little buddy. He maybe a year older than me but he better look out once I get the hang of this crawling thing. His mommy Jenna and daddy, Scott are mom and dad's friends. They're nice people. Their house is full of cool toys. Ball pits, bikes, cars, the works!
Oh yeah, check out this milestone news! I GOT MY FIRST TOOTH! On Christmas Day!! So now that means I get to eat some baby foods. I've already tried Sweet Potatoes, today we'll try Squash. YUUUUUUUUMMMM!

Days of Our Lives ...... |

::ACHOOO!:: Oh boy...I've caught my first cold. Mom, dad and I stayed home yesterday. Then just me and mom today. I've been sleeping most of the day. Mom says thats good. I've got the coughs and sneezes and now mom has it too. She'll sneeze, then I sneeze. I cough then she coughs. Then I laugh at her. hehe ::COUGH COUGH:: Mom and I went for a walk earlier to get some moisture in our lungs (it supposed to help the cough), I made me fall asleep and I think it just wore mom out.
Mom and dad put the decorations up. The house looks great! I love these 3D snowflakes my mom made. Hopefully she gets a picture put up on here of me lookin at em. They're FLAKE-tastic! haha :)
And in the mix of all this I've learned to roll from all sides now. Mom says I look like a little fishy flopping around on the floor. I can scoot a little too! Before long I'll be crawlin!

| DOCTOR'S APPT TODAY |

27 inches/ 17.1 pounds
Hey guys! Lane here. Today was a busy day! Mom and I were on the go until a little bit ago. She picked me up from Aunt Jess's and we headed over to grandma's to get our Christmas decorations. Then went to this busy place so mom could get my medical card so I could go to the......DOCTOR'S!! Going to the doctor's had its highs and lows. HIGHS - everyone ooed and awed over me :) Thats always nice. AND I found out I am 27" tall (90%) and 17.1 pounds (75%), I can't remember how many cm my head is but they said it was in the 55% range...so my head is average in size. Good news all around. They said I am growing great and I look real healthy and that I should be sitting on my own soon. The doctor seemed some what amazed at how good I hold my head up and how strong and straight my back is. Hurray hurray! Now for the LOWS - THEY POKED ME!! I got 4 shots today! Boy was I mad and I let them know it!
After the doctor's appt we went to Sears to pick up our pictures that we got taken on Saturday. They were not very nice to my mommy...they messed up and now mom has to go back in again sometime this week. Aunt Jess told her she should complain, and she probably will. Aunt Jess has to too....Maybe they need to go back to picture school....just some advice from a 5 month old...(WOW! Can you believe it! 5 months already!! Only 15 years and 7 months until I can drive!! WOO HOO!)
Then after Sears we went to Michael's so mom could get some stuff to make some ornaments....
And then to HiSchool pharmacy to get some keys made....
And noooooow back to grandma's where mom will send an email to Grandpa Carl and wait until daddy calls for a ride home from work.
Pheeeew! WHAT A DAY! I'm pooped. Thats why I'm taking a nap riiiiiiight..........now.

Hey everybody!! Big updates today! Let me see, where to begin... On Veterans day I rolled over- belly to back. Man o man was my mom, dad and grandma excited! They kept staring at me and putting me back on my belly when all I wanted to do was lay on my back! It was a pretty crazy night. Then about a week ago my daddy got some good news that he could work at his job in Portland so we didn't have to move to Seattle. Mom was bummed about that, but I'm excited I get to stay down here in ole Vancouver - close to my grandma and aunty Jess and my cousins! Hurray! Since we weren't moving to Seattle, we decided to look for a place in Vancouver and bam! The very next day we found a place out near Hockinson/Brush Prairie. ITS AWESOME! We have a huge yard! Mom is talking about getting some chickens in the spring and dad wants to get a calf. He says we won't have to buy meat for a year, but I guess that doesn't effect me since I have yet to get any teeth in. I know I know...I'm got all the signs minus one- the teeth. lol Soon friends, soon. Anyway, back to the farm. Big plans for that place. I'm going to help momma plant seeds in the spring too! Corn, pumpkin, cucumbers, green beans, tomatoes, and even potatoes! Mom says she wants to use our own crops to make my baby food. Fine by me, anything with the word food in it makes me happy! :)
Mom has been busy at work but her hours have shifted ahead an hour so now she gets off at noon! Thats cool cause then my momma can put me down for my afternoon nap.
Guess what else! I said Momma last night...I think...I tried real hard to say it and my got excited and smiled reeeal big so maybe I did? I sure surprised her. We were sitting on the couch and I was real quiet then I said it "mooommuuuh" :) And then we both SMILED REAL WIDE!
Annnnd I slept in my crib last night for the first time in a looong time. Only 4 hours or so but hey, its a start. Well I better be goin. Time to do my favorite thing. Eat.

This is my first post on my first journal, hurray! Well not much happened today. My nose sure is stuffed up. Could be from my grandma's cold or because I'm allergic to the cat here. I also woke up at 4am this morning so I'm a bit sleepy today. Mom didn't get too much of a kick out that. (hehehe) Dad came home for a few days tonight- I sure love that big guy! Well I better be goin, Grandma needs to check her email...Aunt Barb says there's an email about a birthday party in there for this weekend. Hurray! I like birthday parties. Lots of faces and colors to look at! Especially those awesome balloons! Those are my favorite!
